Fremont Brewing To Release Independent IPA Exclusively In Oregon

Fremont Brewing Loves Oregon

After fully entering the Oregon beer market this past winter, Fremont Brewing is set to release Independent IPA. The Seattle based brewery brewed this special, small-batch beer exclusively for the Oregon craft beer market. This new release is a single hop beer the uses only Citra™ hops from Washington’s Yakima Valley. It’s a bit ironic that Fremont chose a hop that is not from Oregon, for this Oregon only beer.

The label for Independent IPA features Oregon’s state motto and an adaptation of Fremont’s Heron logo. The label states, “We brewed this beer for you, Oregon Craft Beer Drinker. Just you. Why? Consider this small-batch craft beer a token of our respect for Oregon and the amazing craft beer community here. Plus, it’s just fun to brew new beers. This single-hop IPA is made with only Citra™ hops from our friends in the Yakima Valley and brewed with American Pale, German Pilsner, and Canadian Honey Malts. This beer is now yours, Oregon…Alis Volat Propriis (She Flies With Her Own Wings…your state motto)…Because Beer Matters!”
