Hopworks Urban Brewery Release Party for Captain Jack’s Lucky 13 Championship IPA
To kick off soccer season Hopworks Urban Brewery will release its Timbers themed beer with Captain Jack’s Lucky 13 Championship IPA. This launch will take place on Sunday, March 6 at 6:00pm after the season opener.
Join Hopworks Urban Brewery and Jack Jewsbury for the release of Captain Jack’s Lucky 13 Championship IPA! This limited NW Style IPA is collaboration with Jack Jewsbury, a member of one of our favorite soccer club and post-match patron of HUB’s brewpub. Jack will be at the pub to drink with fans after the first soccer game of the season.

The beer is a tribute to the Timbers first Championship as “Lucky 13” references Jack’s jersey number and his thirteenth year in the league.
In addition to being on tap, HUB will also release a limited run of collector bottles of Captain Jack’s Lucky 13 Championship IPA. After the release party, the beer will be on tap at BikeBar. A portion of this beer’s proceeds will be donated to Every Child, a Portland-based foster care program and Jack’s charity of choice.
