McMenamins Releases Alienator IPA For Its 18th Annual UFO Festival

McMenamins has released its second IPA in its new Limited Edition IPA Series with its Alienator IPA. A few months ago McMenamins released Captain Neon’s Mango Double IPA in 16 oz cans and now the brewery has moved on to its second release in this new series of beers.

Alienator IPA was brewed in conjunction with the 18thAnnual UFO Festival that will be held on May 18-21 at Hotel Oregon in McMinnville, Oregon. Limited to only 6,240 cans, Alienator IPA is a hoppy IPA that uses Chinook, Citra and Mosaic hops. These hops provide a bold tropical and fruity aroma with plenty of hop flavor.

This beer is sure to make a believer out of any skeptic! Orbiting above the Alienator IPA are tropical, fruity aromas provided by a thorough dry-hopping using Mosaic and Citra Hops. This tasty recipe yielded a fascinating orange hue complete with luminous hop flavor. Alienator’s lush aroma and distinct hop character is perfect for those who prefer their ales strong, hoppy and a little out-of-this-world.
