Ninkasi Brewing Releases Heart and Science West Coast IPA

A new beer will join the year-round lineup at Ninkasi Brewing from Eugene, Oregon. Today, Ninkasi released Heart and Science West Coast IPA in 12oz cans and on draft. This new canned offering will be available across Ninkasi’s distribution footprint.

Heart and Science West Coast IPA originally began as a seasonal beer but its popularity proved that it needed larger exposure. The beer offers the juiciness of a Hazy IPA but one that is a bit more refined. The brewer describes this beer as offering ajuicy start with hints of citrus and tropical fruits plus a smooth, bitter, hoppy finish highlight the technical arts and heartfelt dedication of the independent craft beer industry of the region.

“We wanted to celebrate everyone who has escalated craft beer in the Pacific Northwest, from the farmers, brewers, suppliers, and fans,” Ninkasi founding brewer and co-founder, Nikos Ridge said in a statement. “This beer was so well-received during its seasonal run that it only seemed right to bring it back and brew it year-round.”
