PORTLAND, Ore (July 1, 2015) – In honor of Zupan’s 40th Anniversary and Portland’s summer bounty, Zupan’s Markets and Coalition Brewing have partnered together to create Farm-to-Market IPA. This one-of-a-kind IPA is dry-hopped with Ella and Galaxy hops for a citrusy and tropical nose that’s balanced by its malt base and 250 pounds of local marionberries grown by Columbia Farms on Sauvie Island.
“Zupan’s Markets is excited to celebrate 40 years serving our customers and the Portland community,” said President & CEO Mike Zupan. “Toasting the occasion with our own locally brewed beer seemed like the perfect Portland way to mark such a milestone in our company’s history.”
This limited edition IPA will be available on July 1 at all four Zupan’s locations in 22 oz. bottles for $6.99 and on tap at the growler station at Zupan’s Belmont store. In addition, Farm-to-Market IPA will be available for tasting at the inaugural Portland Craft Beer Festival at The Fields Neighborhood Park in Northwest Portland, July 3-5, 2015.
“We’re passionate about experimenting with new flavors and creating small batch specialty beers,” said Elan Walsky, Head Brewer at Coalition Brewing Co. “ Zupan’s Markets prioritizes quality, fresh, local ingredients and we were excited to collaborate with them to help celebrate 40 years.”
