Hanging Posters

I’ve recently come to the conclusion that maintaining Brewpublic has become more of a blogging endeavor. Still, I’ve got to bring you your content each day. What’s going on in Oregon beer? That’s for all of us to answer. My partner Aaron and I spent much of recent times getting the word out about Brewpublic’s latest Meet the Brewers Pub Crawl (aka BrewPubliCrawl) going down on Saturday March 19, 2011. This event will include a plentitude of choice Oregon craft brewers. We’re uber excited to aid in a fun event sponsored by Full Sail, Hopworks, Laurelwood, Widmer, Lompoc, Ninkasi, Southern Oregon Brewing, and 10 Barrel Brewing.

Tuesday wasn’t only $2 pint night at The EastBurn, it was also a night in which we met with a constituent of Portland’s best beer bloggers. Also, we worked out an arrangement with Brewvana Beer Tours to get folks about for the March 19 5-pub crawl.

We’re jazzed to have the likes of our title sponsors as well as niche regional craft brewers like Barley Brown’s, Beetje, Block 15, Breakside, and Burnside (basically, the ‘B’ brewers). There really seems to be a lot of B’s in the Portland beer. And with the brewers, there’s more Ben’s than any other name here.

Yesterday and today we got up posters at Plew’s Brews, Saraveza, The Hop & Vine, Lompoc Fifth Quadrant, Portland Deschutes, BeerMongers, Bailey’s, Victory, Avignon, Blitz Ladd, Fire on the Mountain, and North. Any other high traffic beer joint need a poster?

After a 503 beer bloggers meet up in Southeast Portland at the Pub at the End of the Universe, it seems as though we are going to formulate a proper contingency. Fellow bloggers Beervana, PortlandBeer, It’s Pub Night, The Daily Pull, Portland Beer & Music, and Not So Pro Beer Blog were holding it down. After getting through this seemingly somewhat historic meeting, I skipped over to C-Bar to meet with Brewvana Tours’ Ashley Rose Salvitti. Brewvana is set to help with bussing folks to and from our SE Division pub crawl. Check out our events page.
