Brassicas Dinner at Harvester Brewing with Laura Russell

Next month Portland author Laura Russell will celebrate the release of her new cookbook Brassicas: Cooking the World’s Healthiest Vegetables with a beer dinner at Harvester Brewing’s Gastropub. This dinner with author Laura Russell will take place on Tuesday, April 15th beginning at 7:00pm.

Brassicas: Cooking the World’s Healthiest Vegetables, released on April 8th, will kick off it’s Portland release with Harvester Gastropub’s Chef Neil Davidson along with the book’s author, Laura Russell. This unique beer dinner will offer a seven-course Gluten-Free dinner paired with Harvester’s award winning gluten-free ales. Tickets are $65 for the dinner along with beer pairings and are available by clicking here.

1st: Antipasti Platter: Greek shaved cabbage and fennel, Mexican pickled vegetables, smoky kale salad with toasted almonds and egg, smoked trout, kimchi, flatbread arugula and prosciutto pizza

2nd: Caldo verde (collard green soup) with salt cod fritters

3rd: Poached lingcod, cabbage confetti quinoa, slaw

4th: Dark Ale braised beef short ribs, cauliflower rice, lemon thyme vinaigrette

5th: Rogue Creamery’s Caveman Blue cheese, tatsoi and blueberry salad

6th: Grapefruit juniper sorbet, shortbread cookies

7th: Hazelnut-crusted chocolate cake, vanilla anglaise
