Breakside Belgian Chocolate Stout Release

Breakside Brewery has announced the release of a (very) small-batch
Belgian chocolate stout this Wednesday. Brewer Ben Edmunds says:

“At 5.8% ABV and 33 IBUs, this is a rich, dark ale that ventures into the rarely explored territory of Belgian stouts. This is NOT just the Irish stout fermented with Belgian yeast, but a completely different beer using our house Belgian blend and unsweetened cocoa powder. This will be the first of our weekly Wednesday releases of new, small batch beers that we plan on doing until our full brewhouse is installed. One keg only; it’s gone when it’s gone, and there’s no guarantee that we’ll brew it again…”
