Cascade Releases Portland Ale

Friday, Cascade Brewing with the help of  Green Bottling bottled up their Portland Ale, our tribute to Portland Timbers mascot Timber Jim. Cascade was originally going to release the 22 ounce bottles on March 19 in honor of the MLS season opener in Colorado.  But since it was already bottled, they figured it made more sense to release it now.  So, Portland Ale will now go on sale at 11 am this Monday, March 7 at both the Cascade Brewing Barrel House and the Raccoon Lodge & Brew Pub.  This gives you enough time to figure out how to transport it to Colorado!

Cases sell for $48, single bottles cost $4.25. $1 per case will be donated to Harper’s Playground – Timber Jim’s charity – by Cascade Brewing in the name of the Timbers Army 107ists.

The combination of German Pilsner and Noble aromatic hops makes this light bodied, straw colored pale ale a perfect choice for the pitch! Come get your bottles while they last, and raise them in a toast to Timber Jim and a Portland State of Mind!
