Taking on the Idaho Market, New Brewing Equipment, Sales Rep in Portland

Cascade Lakes Brewing Company, recently announced its expansion plans that are already underway.  The Brewery, located in Redmond, Oregon, has been at capacity for years which has limited the company’s ability to expand. This winter, a 25 barrel brew house system from JV Northwest replaced the 17 year old system they had been working with. Increasing efficiency tremendously, this will allow them to brew 775 gallons per batch and brew three batches a day. The goal with this expansion is to produce 25% more product.

“At last, we have the ability to brew more beer, thus it’s a natural time to expand our markets and sales efforts,” stated Chris Justema, president and partner. “We are distributed throughout the state of Oregon and into Southwest Washington, but will soon be taking on the Idaho market, Boise in particular. Bend and Boise have a lot of similarities. Both are filled with people that have lifestyle at the top of their list. They work hard and play hard in the outdoors and our brand fits with that motto well.”

Cascade Lakes Brewing Company has also hired sales representative that will work in western Oregon servicing the Portland, Eugene, Salem, Corvallis, and Vancouver markets.  Scott Driggs has 13 years experience as a wholesale beer supplier. In the past, sales efforts have been handled by the owners.

“We are thrilled to have Scott on board as of April 1st. He brings a tremendous amount of experience, expertise, and enthusiasm to the table,” stated Chris Justema.
