Hopworks Announces Release of Rise Up Red
Distribution starts one week from today for Hopworks Urban Brewery (HUB)’s Rise Up Red. This Northwest-style red ale won a gold medal at the 2009 Great American Beer Festival and is slated for distribution in 22-ounce bottles and in kegs on May 17, 2010. Brewpublic is proud to say this was the first beer to grace our latest keggerator and we highly anticipate the return of this hoppilicious brew.
Organic Rise Up Red is a classic Northwest red ale featuring a rich mahogany color with organic malts providing a mild caramel sweetness and smooth, bready flavor. An ample dose of locally-grown Cascade and Centennial hops delivers a floral and slight citrus flavor. The beer checks in at 60 IBUs and 5.8% ABV.
