2nd Annual Firestone Walker Invitational Beer Fest

Brewpublic is caught in the midst of things at the 2nd Annual Firestone Walker Invitational Beer Fest in Paso Robles, CA

After last year’s inaugural Firestone Walker Invitational Beer Festival in Paso Robles, California, one thing was for certain – these folks at the award winning brewery sure know how to throw a beer fest. Some of the most coveted breweries from across the nation and a few of international acclaim were asked to share some of their best beers for this amazing event.

Despite temperatures that exceeded 100-degrees on the day of the fest, the staff and grounds crew at the event provided plenty of water, shade, large fans, and mist makers to keep the quaffers as quenched and cool as possible.

Live music for this year’s Invitational was provided by the harmonious and stringy Hot Buttered Rum and the riffed-out whiskey-soaked White Buffalo. Both outfits offered the perfect sound for the hipsters, beer nerds, and cowboys of the region.

With more than 40 breweries and more than 20 food offerings, the fest hashtagged #FWIBF had a little of something for all the foodies and beer lovers. A huge tip of the hat to the organizers for improving upon what seemed like a perfect fest the year prior.
