Returning for its eighth year to Portland, Cider Summit PDX has announced the complete cider lineup for its cider festival that takes place from June 29-30, 2018. The region’s largest cider festival will take place in the comfortable setting of The Fields Park in Portland’s Pearl District. Hours are 3:00-8:00pm on Friday, June 29th and Noon-5:00pm on Saturday, June 30th.

For the 8th annual Cider Summit PDX, the event will bring in 209 hard ciders from 62 producers, including more than 100 ciders from Oregon, and 75 percent from the Northwest. Then to keep the festival fresh, half of the ciders have never been poured at Cider Summit PDX. Cideries at the fest will hail from the states of Oregon, Washington, California, New Hampshire, and New York along with imports from Canada, England, France, and Spain.

One of the highlights of Cider Summit PDX over the past few years has been the Oregon Fruit Products Fruit Cider Challenge. Now in its fourth year, the Fruit Cider Challenge features pilot batch fruit ciders using Oregon Fruit Products puree, with the optional use of Enartis oak chips. Cider Summit attendees vote for their favorite Fruit Cider Challenge entry via text, and the winners are announced at the conclusion of the event on Saturday.
