Angry Orchard Offers a Week’s Supply of its Crisp Light Hard Cider

With many people taking spring vacations in the coming months, Angry Orchard wants these travelers to save some money by traveling a bit lighter. Yep, Angry Orchard does not want you to have to pack your alcohol so you can save some money on the upcoming trip. So to  help out, the cidermaker is offering its Travel Light promotion.

Angry Orchard recently commissioned a survey [1] where it found that more than 40 million Americans [2] have packed alcohol beverages in their luggage when going on spring break. This was said to be done most commonly to save time (49%) or money (71%), with more than two thirds (69%) wishing they didn’t have to. Angry Orchard, the nation’s leading hard cider maker, is stepping in to help: the days of schlepping a week’s worth of drinks to vacation destinations are officially over.

To celebrate the launch of its recently released Crisp Light, Angry Orchard is helping lucky spring breakers ”Travel Light” by eliminating the hassle of hauling alcohol in their luggage with a chance to win a fully stocked beverage fridge at their spring break destination!

Angry Orchard Crisp Light is the newest addition to the Crisp Apple lineup, making a big splash as the perfect day-drinking cider for its lighter taste and profile, now available in 12oz. six-pack cans. With just 6 grams of sugar and 120 calories per 12 oz. serving at 4.3% ABV, each and every can of Crisp Light has that same delicious crisp apple flavor Angry Orchard drinkers know and love, now with fewer grams of sugar and calories, and with a slightly less sweet finish.

By simply commenting on Angry Orchard’s launch post via Instagram or Twitter with “Help us #AngryOrchardTravelLight to <insert destination> @AngryOrchard”, drinkers will have a chance to win a week’s supply of Crisp Light in the form of cold hard cash. The sweepstakes will be open through April 4, 2024, and winners will be notified via direct message from the official @AngryOrchard social channels or by email. [1]This survey was conducted online within the United States by The Harris Poll on behalf of Angry Orchard from February 6-8, 2024 among 1,993 U.S. adults ages 21 and older, among whom 393 have packed alcohol beverages in their luggage when going on spring break. The sampling precision of Harris online polls is measured by using a Bayesian credible interval. For this study, the sample data is accurate to within +/- 2.6 percentage points using a 95% confidence level. [2]According to a 2021 census HERE: There are 196,899,193 Americans ages 21 and older x .74 who have gone on spring break = 145,705,403 Americans have gone on spring break x .28 who have packed alcohol in their luggage = 40,797,512 Americans have packed alcoholic beverages in their luggage when going on spring break.
