Eugene's The Tap & Growler Hosts Beer vs Cider vs Mead Tonight

Tap and Growler Projected Beer Menu

Tonight, The Tap & Growler in downtown Eugene will be hosting Beer vs Cider vs Mead. This Tap Takeover & Food Pairing Event will pair Flat Tail Brewing, 2 Towns Cider, and Nectar Creek Honeywine with food pairings by Noisette Pastry Kitchen.

Taking place in The Tap & Growler’s back Barrel Room from 6:00-9:00pm, this event will take the fine nuances of beer, cider and mead to the next level.

The event is part of the Versus Series from The Tap & Growler, that features a “Beer vs Cider vs Mead Tap Takeover & Food Pairing”. Michael Landsberg, from Noisette Pastry Kitchen, is once again supplying 4 savory and 4 sweet food items to pair with 4 beers from Flat Tail Brewing, 4 ciders from 2 Towns Cider, and 4 meads from Nectar Creek Honeywine.

Each combination of savory and sweet will be paired with a beer, cider, and mead. There will be a vote for every pairing to determine the winner of the Beer vs Cider vs Mead Food Pairing Challenge.

The pairings this evening will be the following:
