Cider Riot! will pour samples from its line-up of locally crafted cider.

The Maker’s Happy Hour takes place every First Friday at The Café at Alma Chocolate in the Weatherly Creamery Building at 1323 SE 7th Avenue. During this time all cheese and confections are available to purchase at a 15% discount.

APRIL MAKERS:

Ancient Heritage Dairy crafts artisan cheese by hand in the heart of SE Portland. Their lineup displays a variety of stunning cow and sheep’s milk wonders, from soft, oozing rounds to hard, crystallized wedges.

Alma Chocolate makes modern classics you can believe in: toffees, pralines, bonbons, toffee and bars all made by hand and capped in luscious, ethical chocolate. Preview one of Alma’s seasonal bon bons made from Meyer lemons with a white chocolate ganache filling and covered in dark chocolate.

Cider Riot is located in Portland’s vibrant inner Eastside, just off Burnside Street. Cider Riot is an urban cidery with a pub and tasting room dedicated to the production of refreshing, thirst quenching, dry ciders.  They use a variety of apples grown in Cascadia, including rare English and French cider variety apples, wild apples from Yamhill County, Oregon, and dessert apples from the Yakima and Hood River Valleys.
