3nd Annual Belgian Uprising
|Help us celebrate the limitless realm of complex, unusual, and often strong beers of Belgium.
Taste a wide range of commercial and home brewed examples, including a number of aged surprises, and mini vertical tastings from the cellar.
Last years event topped 53 different labels, so this is a great chance to expand your beer world, and destroy any remaining pesky brain cells! (Don’t worry, they’ll grow back!)
When: April 17th, Saturday, 3:00PM till late!
What: All Beers Belgium! Bring with you any commercial or home brewed Belgian style beers, old or new, dusty or gleaming. (Also any food or snacks are always welcome).
Who: Hosted by the award winning brewer Kealoha ‘K-Man’ Oyer (who swears his simcoe IPA originated in a Flemish region of Hawaii.)
& Dave Hamilton (Dethbyhammer Brewing founder, who claims his “Abbey-Biere de Garde-Golden-Dark Strong-Oud Bruin-Lambic-Dubbel-superinfected-Quintuple-Gueuze” is close to being patented and given designation as a new BJCP style!)
