Brewvana's Brewing in Action w/ Jeremy Landers of the Oregon Brew Crew (PDX)

Jeremie Landers sits out from of Belmont Station's Biercafe with a flight of wild alesLove beer? Want to learn how to do it yourself? Just want to hang out and talk about brewing? HOP on the bus!
“Making the jump from beer lover to beer brewer was an important step in my appreciation for beer and knowledge of the brewing process. Something inside of you changes when you add your hops to the boils, and then later when you taste those hops in the final product and make the connection. There are so many beer lovers in Portland that haven’t made that step yet, and on this tour, we will give them the opportunity to do so,” says Brewvana founder Ashley Rose Salvitti.
The tour will visit The Commons, Uptown Market, Portland U-Brew, Widmer and Coalition Breweries and will teach participants:
WHY you should brew your own beer.
WHO can help you – clubs, forums, classes and other resources.
WHAT equipment you will need.
WHERE you can go to brew your own or buy supplies.
HOW to brew!
Jeremie Landers from the Oregon Brew Crew home brew club will be leading the tour. He’s been home brewing for years in Portland, volunteers at almost every beer related event and function and got married inside the Widmer brewery. Jeremie will be drinking beers with potential brewers, informing them about opportunities available for them and answering questions.
Tour is 21+ with valid ID and all-inclusive.
