Earth Day @ The Guild Public House

The Guild Public HouseThe Guild Public House will use Earth Day 2011 (April 22nd) to highlight our ongoing commitment to the environment and encourage others to as well.  As we open for business on Earth Day, we’ll tap Eel River’s Earth Thirst Double IPA and contribute $1 per pint sold to the Oregon League of Conservation Voters.

Specifically brewed to promote Earth Day 2011, Eel River has already donated a portion of the proceeds from Earth Thirst Double IPA to California Certified Organic Farmers.   Earth Thirst is 100% organic and100% sustainable also as Eel River Brewing is completely bio-mass powered.

The Guild Public House, co-owned by Jesse Cornett & Molly Aleshire is located in the Burnside Rocket Building, a LEED Platinum Building located on the newly completed Couplet at 1101 East Burnside.  Setting us apart from any other Portland Pub, our heating and cooling is geothermal and our water is from a well deep beneath the building.

Molly and Jesse know that business is more than just the bottom line. A key goal of the Guild Public House is to give back.  As a business, we plan to donate 5% of our profit to local non-profits.
