Full Sail Hoppy Hour @ Morton's Steakhouse

Guests will be treated to a sampling of off-centered and full-flavored craft beers each paired with select cheeses and Morton’s signature appetizers

PORTLAND – Morton’s The Steakhouse in Portland is offering a unique beer tasting experience as part of its Prime Events Series, featuring the exotic flavors of local craft brewery Full Sail Brewing Company, one of Oregon’s craft beer pioneers, on Wednesday, July 14 from 6-7:30 p.m.

Morton’s guests will sample four different and uniquely crafted Full Sail beers, paired with selected cheeses and accompanied by Morton’s Petite Filet Mignon sandwiches, mini Crab Cake BLTs, Smoked Salmon Wedges and Lamb Chops with Brie.  The ticket price of $45 per person includes gratuity and Morton’s will donate $5 from every ticket to the Make-A-Wish Foundation®. Full Sail beer specialist John Harris will be on hand to give a short presentation on each beer being a sampled.

The Full Sail selections to be featured at Morton’s “Hoppy Hour” will include:

  • Session Black Lager – The award winning and newest member of the Full Sail family, Session Black has a hint of roasty chocolate character, is short, dark, and won’t fill you up.
  • LTD – Full Sail’s seasonal beer is their famed LTD and July brings a crisp Pilsner-style Limited Edition Lager. This beer is pale-golden in color, featuring a spicy floral hop aroma, malty medium body, and a smooth, thirst quenching finish.
  • Spotless IPA – A refreshing beer first created in India by British colonists, Full Sail IPA has a full, malty body and a hint of fresh citrus to it.
  • Full Sail Amber – Proudly the first amber beer brewed in Oregon, Full Sail Amber is s a sweet, malty, medium-bodied ale with a spicy, floral hop finish. It’s brewed with 2-row Pale, Crystal and Chocolate malts to complete its flavor profile.

This unique pairing is part of the ongoing Prime Events Series presented by Morton’s, which is a collection of unique and interactive tastings, seminars and dinners. Guests will have access to experiences and opportunities that can’t be found anywhere else.
