Puckerfest @ Belmont Station

Belmont Station big dogs: Chris Ormand (left), Capt. Neil Yandow (center), and Carl SingmasterMark your calendars now. Portland’s original festival of sour, wild, and funky beers returns July 18 through 24!

Now in it’s fifth year, Puckerfest has grown to become one of the most popular little festivals in July. Appropriately sandwiched between the Portland International Beer Festival and the Oregon Brewer’s Fest, Puckerfest 5 is shaping up to be the best yet. Beer lovers can look forward to a rotating cast of 12-14 funky beers on tap daily, along with numerous “Meet the Brewer” nights where we bring brewers from around the region to the Biercafé to share their stories and some extra special beers.

Check back often for updates, events, and other fun stuff. In the meantime, if you use Twitter you can follow us for up to the minute updates, or connect with us on Facebook to see which of your friends plans to attend.

We are looking for more photos and/or videos of past Puckerfest events. If you have anything you’d like to share (photo credit will be provided), please visit the contact page and email us a link, or connect with us on Facebook and share pictures and video through their services.

The Biercafe will open at noon each day during Puckerfest in order to accomodate more visitors. We may also stay open later depending on traffic levels, but you can be assured that we’ll be open until 11pm Monday through Saturday and 9pm on Sunday.

One final, very important note: In order to avoid the crazy lines and delays at the register (remember the Double Mountain and Cascade nights last year?) the cafe will be CASH ONLY for the duration of Puckerfest. We do have an ATM on site.

Cheers, and prepare to Pucker Up!
