ast week, he became the first federal candidate in Oregon to be targeted by an independent expenditure group, “Concerned Taxpayers of America.” (CTA) This group filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission on Sept. 1 stating that it intended to “raise funds in unlimited amounts”.
No public information is available on who is financing CTA. At the current rate, CTA is on track to spend $1 million in advertisements against Peter.
