Here’s the tasting menu:
NEW-Louis Quatorze Imperial Stout
Celebrating their 14th Anniversary, Snoqualmie Falls Brewing wanted to share the spotlight with Louie Quatorze (14), King of France. Louie sure enjoyed the finer things in life and took down quite a few Russian Imperial Stouts in his time with his good ‘ol pal and Czar, Peter the Great. Snoqualmie decided they wanted to share their Imperial Stout with you.
Louis Quatorze Imperial Stout is dark and delicious. The aroma and flavors evoke a heady mixture of espresso, dark chocolate, and black licorice. This stout is a rich and decadent experience worthy of royalty. 8.6% abv 60 IBU
NEW-Plant 1 Powerhouse IPA (available on draft at the tasting)
This special release pays homage to the Plant 1 Powerhouse in Snoqualmie Falls. Built in 1898, this power generating station has been fueling the greater Seattle area for over 100 years. Embedded in rock 270 feet below the surface, it was the world’s first completely underground power station. Snoqualmie would like to share this part of their local history in the best way they know how, beer, and it’s called Powerhouse IPA.
Powerhouse packs a perfect balance of hops and malts. Two-row pale malt provides the background and a dose of Munich, Aromatic, Carapils, and Crystal Malts round it out. Columbus and Cascade hops deliver a hoppy blow to your stomach with over a pound of hops per keg. 7.5% abv 85 IBU
Spring Fever Belgian Grand Cru (available on draft at the tasting)
Orange hues, rich malt flavors, spicy coriander overtones and fruity, tropical aromas make this one beautiful beer for fans of Belgian styles. Spring Fever is crafted from the finest Two-Row, Munich, Carastan and Belgian Aromatic malts, Columbus and Czech Saaz hops, spiced with coriander and fermented with authentic Belgian ale yeast. Limited release available through April, 1.070 O.G. / 7.0% ABV / 32 IBU
The balanced Hop Monster! This India Pale Ale has helped define our northwest style: big, bold hop flavors from 100% Yakima-grown Columbus hops and enough malt backbone to stand up to them. We use premium Pale, Munich, Cara-Pils and Crystal malts, as well as top-fermenting ale yeast to
create the perfect hop delivery system. 1.062 O.G. / 6.6% ABV / 75 IBU
A marvelous, low alcohol “session” beer that’s easy to drink with medium
body and just a touch of sweetness for perfect balance. PGA is great for the 19th hole (or any hole in between) or even when you’re just dreaming of those perfect days on the fairway. 1.048 O.G. / 4.2% ABV / 25 IBU
