Stone Brewing Company Highway 78 Scotch Ale-Collaboration with Green Flash and Pizza Port
The entire Stone Collaboration Series has been nothing short of deliciousness, and Highway 78 Scotch Ale is worth the road trip. Along the highway look for a little spice, sweetness, toastiness, and a hefty attitude at 8.8% abv. This is a one-time brew and is only available for a short time. At the tasting, it will be our featured beer on draft, and a very limited supply is available in bottles. more
Additional tasting beers from bottles will include:
Arrogant Bastard American Strong Ale
Rated A on Beer Advocate, boasts world-wide fame, and is often included on lists of beers to try before you die! 7.2% abv, more
Stone Smoked Porter
A very rich, yet refined rendition of the style offering chocolate & coffee notes, and of course ribbons of smoke throughout, 5.9% abv, more
Old Guardian Belgo American Barley Wine
Apparently a few Old Guardian Barley Wine barrels weren’t guarded very well when they were spiked with Belgian yeast. As a result, the classic Guardianship flavor is completely different in a most appealing way, 12% abv, more
Stone Pale Ale, a SoCal interpretation of a British Pale Ale
Very robust and full-flavored makes this amber-colored pale, not so pale, 5.4% abv, more
I don’t believe Stone is completely a bunch of arrogant bastards. I suspect there’s a little bit of humbleness in there with a good beat to dance to. Hope you can make it to the tasting.
