Tap It Tuesday @ Cascade Brewing

Tonight’s Tap It Tuesday at 6 pm is “Straight Double Red.” This live barrel of NW style sour double red ale was aged for eight months in French oak wine barrels.  Dark red wine, raisins and red grape skins greet you on the nose.  Sweet red grapes and caramel with hints of hazelnuts roll across the palate.  Bright red currants and cherries linger in the finish. It weighs in at 8.5% ABV and sells for $6/glass.  Tap It Tuesday takes place every Tuesday at 6 pm at the Barrel House, 939 SE Belmont St.  Thanks to last week’s Kriek 2010 tapper and holder:  Zorn Matson and Molly Finnegan!
