Mazama Brewing of Corvallis to Open in Early 2013

Future home of Mazama Brewing

By C. Baker

There’s a new brewery in the works down in Corvallis, Oregon that’s slated to open in January 2013. Owners and Operators, Jeff and Kathy Tobin will have a taproom for tasting and growler fills. They were going to call their new venture Northwest Brewing, but learned the name had already been taken not long before them by a brew pub in Washington. Their new name, Mazama Brewing Company. Jeff and Kathy will be operating a 20-barrel system to brew up 20 and 40-barrel batches of their beer. They will also offer tours during select hours.

On Mazama’s blog, Jeff Tobin stated in late July: “We are excited to have secured the location for our brewery. We signed our lease and can now start on our site build-out. We are located in a brand new building that is nearing completion. It is located in the Eastgate Business Center just a few miles east of downtown Corvallis. We are pleased to have 2 Towns Ciderhouse as out neighbors. We are now working on equipment selection and a brewery layout.”

Location:

Mazama Brewing

33930A Eastgate Circle

Corvallis, OR 97333
