Truffle Shuffle Stout to Commemorate Goonies 25th Anniversary
Astoria’s finest brewers have collaborated to produce a special brew to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the cult film, The Goonies. John Dalgren of Astoria Brewing Company and Jack Harris of the Fort George Brewery have dubbed the “Truffle Shuffle Stout” was made with seven ounces of ground black truffle mushrooms, lots of specialty malts and The Goonies one-liners. This beer will be available at Fort George, The Wet Dog Cafe and several other locations county-wide for the big 25th anniversary weekend.
The adventure begins again on June 4th and last through the 7th. Scheduled events for the anniversary event include a sold out VIP dinner with the cast of The Goonies, a red carpet showing of the film and a new documentary, bus tours, meet and greets with the cast, and much more. You should seriously consider bottling or canning the Truffle Shuffle Stout to sell in town and over the internet, I bet you would make a killing. I would buy many cases and I know others would too.
