Looking for a reason to drink beer and eat some tasty bacon? Look no further than the 3rd Annual Eugene Bacon Fest taking place on Saturday May 3rd, at the Rogue Ales Public House in Eugene, Oregon.
Bacon Fest is a celebration of all things pork. The fine folks at Rogue will be serving bacon on sticks, bacon dipped in chocolate, bacon gumballs, bacon lollipops, bacon lip balm, bacon bandages and bacon beers. But the highlight beer and food pairing will be Voodoo Doughnut’s Bacon Maple bars and Rogue Ales Bacon Maple Ale. You can read a review on this pairing here.
For those non-bacon fans, they’ll be serving up some roasted pig and pork belly tacos.
Rogue will also have live music, games like Pin The Tail On The Pig, Bung Toss and there will be hourly door prizes. Tickets are $5 and proceeds will benefit Eugene YMCA Summer Youth Camps and the Greenhill Humane Society.
The 3rd Annual Eugene Bacon Fest will be held from 2pm to 8pm, Saturday May 3rd, at Rogue Public House on Olive Street in Eugene, Oregon.
