Breakside Brewery Celebrates First Year
Breakside Brewery will turn 1 this Saturday, May 14, and the plan is to celebrate in good style by offering drink specials and giveaways to the thirsty Portland customers who have helped the brewery have a successful first year. Drink specials include $3 beers all day and free toasts of the new 1st Anniversary Wheat Wine at 3 and 7PM. This commemorative brew weighs in at 10.2% ABV, uses five different types of wheat and features the Falconer’s Flight hop blend. In addition to the beer specials, there will be drawings for free Breakside hats, hoodies, and other brewery schwag, as well as Timbers tickets every hour from 3 PM until close. Brewers Ben Edmunds and Sam Barber will also be pouring different beers through the house Randall throughout the day, and five ounce pours of these infused beers will be served freely as they are prepared. The Breakside One Year Anniversary Party runs all day Saturday, 5/14 from noon until close.
