The Tap & Growler, Eugene’s latest craft beer and wine bar will hold their inaugural beer related event to celebrate the winners of the 2013 Great American Beer Festival. “So far 19 award winning beers from the recent GABF are chillin’ in the cooler awaiting their day”, said co-owner Patric Campbell. “This will be a first come first serve basis, but we’ll try to keep them on throughout the week if possible”, Campbell continued. “Most of the beers are from Oregon, but we also have some from Washington, California, and Colorado”, according to Campbell.

The Tap & Growler will release beers from one or two breweries each day throughout the week. They will also have special events and one private tasting throughout the week. “We’ll offering a punch card for 20 8-ounce pours and a free 32-ounce growler to take home your favorite beer of the day”, said general manager Toby Harris. “This will give people the chance to sample all of the award winners throughout the week and keep track, plus offer some savings if they choose to purchase the punch card”, said Harris.
