Bazi Hosts Affligem Tasting Seminar
Bazi Bierbrasserie will be hosting an Affligem Tasting Seminar on Thursday, December 12 beginning at 7:00pm. The seminar will last approximately one hour and tickets are now on-sale and this special event is limited to 20 attendees.
Affligem has been brewing the most outstanding abbey beers in Belgium for over 950 years. The beers are still brewed according to the Belgian Benedictine monks’ strict traditions of purity and craftsmanship, maintaining Old World quality and complex flavors for which they have become renowned.
Affligem beers have won high ratings and reviews with beer connoisseurs and international trade publications, and have been recognized for outstanding quality in The World Beer Cup, the Brewing Industry International Awards and the International Beer Challenge, among others.
Participants will get to learn the history of the brewery all while experiencing their threes popular styles – Blonde, Tripel and Dubbel plus the holiday edition Noel. The official Affligem Tasting Tray will be used as part of the seminar. Each beer pour will consist of 1-12 oz pour of Blonde and 3-8 oz pours of Dubbel, Tripel and Noel. The tasting seminar costs $24 and includes gratuity.
There will also be a suggested beer and food pairing menu for those wishing to dine with us, at an additional charge. At the end of the tasting seminar, attendees will be able to take the tasting tray and corresponding glassware home.
