Breakside Brewery and Salt & Straw Ice Cream Team Up at Growlers Hawthorne
On Sunday, March 9th, Growlers Hawthorne will host a special evening with Breakside Brewery and Salt & Straw ice cream from 4 to 6pm. If you are looking for one location to find both Salted Caramel Stout and Sea Salt Ice Cream with Caramel Ribbons, Growlers Hawthorne is the place to be on Sunday.
Collaborators from both, Breakside Brewery and Salt & Straw, will in attendance on Sunday to discuss this collaboration the began last year and returned this year with the addition of 22oz bottles of Salted Caramel Stout. Available for tasting will be free samples of Breakside’s Salted Carmel Stout poured by their brewer along with Salt & Straw’s Sea Salt Ice Cream with Caramel Ribbons. The more adventurous will be able to combine samples of both to make a taster of Caramel Stout Float. Sounds delicious!
In addition to Salted Carmel Stout, there will be a few other Breakside beers available. These brews include Mate Honey Lager, Irish Stout, Suburban Farmhouse, and their small batch, barrel-aged Elder Statesman. Feel free to sample these before grabbing a growler to take home.
A pint of ice cream will be available to purchase for $8.00 and 64oz growler fills will sell for $13.99. Buy both for a discount at $19.99.
