Mmmm… Beer!

It may be cliche to quote Homer Simpson, or the Simpsons in general, but you have to admit it, Homer is spewing some insightful crap. After all, the concept was originated in Oregon, the home state of creator Matt Groening.

Here’s some of Homer’s beer quotes:

“Here’s to alcohol, the cause of-and solution to-all life’s problems.”

“Son, a woman is like a beer. They smell good, they look good, you’d step over your own mother just to get one! But you can’t stop at one. You wanna drink another woman!”

“Marge, I’m going to Moe’s. Send the kids to the neighbors, I’m coming back loaded!”

“Oh no! What have I done? I smashed open my little boy’s piggy bank, and for what? A few measly cents, not even enough to buy one beer. Wait a minute, lemme count and make sure… not even close.”

“You’ve been rubbing my nose in it since I got here! Your family is better than my family, your beer comes from farther away than my beer, you and your son like each other, your wife’s butt is higher than my wife’s butt! You make me sick!”

“I am in NO condition to be driving…wait a minute! I shouldnt be listening to myself…I’M DRUNK!”

“I would kill everyone in this room for a drop of sweet beer.”

“All right, brain, I don’t like you and you don’t like me – so let’s just do this and I’ll get back to killing you with beer.”

“I like my beer cold … my TV loud … and my homosexuals flaming.”

“I used to rock ‘n roll all night and party everyday. Then it was every other day. Now I’m lucky if I can find half an hour a week in which to get funky.”

“Alcohol is my way of life, and I aim to keep it.”

“Ah beer, my one weakness. My Achilles heel if you will.”

“Now son, you don’t want to drink beer. That’s for daddies, and kids with fake IDs.”

“The answer to life’s problems aren’t at the bottom of a beer bottle, they’re on TV.”

“You must love this country more than I love a cold beer on a hot Christmas morning.”

“Fruit rollups for Bart. Beer rollups for Homer.” -Marge Simpson

“Everything going dark, like Duff Stout. The beer that made Ireland famous.” -Duffman

“Are you ready to get Duffed?” -Duffman
