Oakshire Beer and Charcuterie Class

Taken from the term cuiseur de chair , meaning “cooker of meat,” charcuterie has been considered a French culinary art at least since the 15th century. A delicatessen-style shop selling cured, processed meats is also called a charcuterie .

Calling all with an ilk for hedonism,  this upcoming class is for you!

Beer and cured meats – join brewmaster  Matt, head brewer Joe, myself and owner Jeff for an evening of imbibing and discussion on all things salty.  We will select at least five cured meats, six beers and facilitate a pairing session.  Learn how Spanish hams are cured, how cured meats vary amoung countries wilst you pick your favorite beer/meat combo.
