Official Beer of Feast Portland: Widmer Brothers Krystal Pear
Along with the second year of Feast Portland comes their very own official beer provided by Widmer Brothers Brewing. The beer that the brewers in North Portland developed for this massive foodie event is Krystal Pear.
Krystal Pear is a filtered American-style wheat beer brewed with pears. Pears are the Oregon state fruit, and what better way to celebrate Oregon bounty than using local pears in a local brew.
To celebrate the release of this beer, Widmer Brothers Brewing will be partnering with Whole Foods Market for an event featuring Krystal Pear, as well as food prepared by the talented staff at Whole Foods.
