Rock Bottom Brewmaster's Cinco De Mayo Dinner
In two weeks Cinco De Mayo will be upon us and downtown Portland’s Rock Bottom will be hosting their Brewmaster’s Cinco De Mayo Dinner. Beginning at 6:30pm, Rock Bottom will celebrate the Fifth of May with a 4 course beer dinner.
The Cinco De Mayo Dinner will feature 4 seasonal beers from Rock Bottom’s Brewmaster, Charlie Hutchins, including Saison Pepper’s Lonely Heart’s Club Beer, Maiwiener, Thunderdome, and Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Porter. The all inclusive dinner is moderately priced at $39.99.
The menu for the Cinco De Mayo Dinner is as follows:
1st Course:
Ceviche al Fresca served with Baked Pita Chips
Paired with Saison Pepper’s Lonely Heart’s Club Beer- A rustic and easy drinking Belgian farmhouse ale brewed with white pepper, spelt, and Sorachi Ace
2nd Course:
Macadamia Nut crusted Mahi served over Cilantro Lime Rice with Pineapple Beurre Blanc Sauce
Paired with Maiwiener – A traditional Vienna lager–easily the best beer you’ve ever had
3rd Course:
Beer Braised Carnitas served with Charro Beans & Roasted Succatash
Paired with Thunderdome – five hops go in–one beer comes out!
4th Course:
Tres Leches with Organic Fresh Berries
Paired with Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Porter – Aged for a year in Woodford Reserve barrels.
