To celebrate all things BEER, Seattle is having their first annual Seattle Beer Week, May 7-17th, 2009. By the Bottle in Vancouver, Washington is representing Southwest Washington with a series of awesome events listed below.

Thursday, May 7th, 5p-7p, Kick-off Tasting featuring Washington Brews, tasting fee, FREE, I like it, I like it ah-lot.
Friday, May 8th, 5p-7p, Cascade Brewing, Portland, OR, featuring their Flanders style sours, Apricot, Kriek, Blackberry, and the unveiling of The Vine, $5.00 cash tasting fee. Curtis from Cascade will be on hand and said not to tell you there COULD be a surprise pour…wait for it…wait for it. You didn’t here that from me.
BUCK-it Tuesday, May 12th, Noon-7pm, sample
Elysian Brewing’s Dragonstooth Stout for a BUCK. Even though we’re having an event this same evening, the BUCK-it is still chillin’, hay!
Tuesday, May 12th, 4p-7p, Mad River Brewing, Blue Lake, CA, $5.00 cash tasting fee
Thursday, May 14, 5p-8p, Meet the Brewer, Ninkasi Brewing, Eugene, OR, $5.00 cash tasting fee
Saturday, May 16th, 6p-8p, this time is subject to change, Anderson Valley Brewing Company, Boonville, CA. Tobias Day with Northwest Craft Brands will help us wrap up the week with a killer nightcap or two.

TASTING FEES: As noted above, per event, please help us run your bottle shop efficiently by paying cash for samples, no purchase is required.
PARKING: Coin-operated metered parking Monday -Friday until 6pm, 2-hour maximum, ok to park in the lot across the street after 5pm.
Angelo grew up in Maine and is proud to call New England his original home. Cascadia is now his home. He fell in love with great beer in Oregon, Washington, and Northern California.
He has been a correspondent for the Portland Tribune's Guest on Tap column, LivePDX.com, and has been featured in publications such as Beer Northwest and PDX Magazine. Angelo also has a great interest in independent music, and has been a booker and organizer for shows around the Portland under the name Pop Tomorrow! Angelo garnered much knowledge regarding beer from his experiences homebrewing, working at Belmont Station, Pyramid Brewing, Upright Brewing, By the Bottle, Beer Revolution, Olde Depot Public House, Falling Sky Brewing, Cascade Brewing, and from many many knowledgeable, passionate, and loving people along the way. It is Angelo's mission to bring "infotainment" and "edumation" to the readers of this website.
