Just on the horizon is Skamania Lodge’s 5th Annual Celebration of Beer taking place in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. Yes, the premiere beer event on the Washington side of the Columbia River will return this year on Saturday, October 5th.

This relaxed setting makes the Celebration of Beer on event to seek out. Located only 45 minutes from Portland, OR, the Skamania Lodge is highly recommended with great sweeping views of the Columbia River Gorge. The event itself is held outside on the Cascade Lawn from Noon – 5:00pm.

Entry is $25 per person and this entitles the festival goer a very nice Skamania Lodge 20th Anniversary Commemorative Mug and 5 beer tokens. After the Celebration of Beer concludes, Skamania Lodge is hosting a Full Sail Brewmaster’s Dinner that runs $55 per person.

STEVENSON, WA (September 16)–On October 5, 2013, Skamania Lodge is gathering some of the Northwest’s best breweries for the all-season resort’s 5th Annual Celebration of Beer.

Breweries representing the Columbia River Gorge will be pouring their wares, as will some other notable breweries around the Pacific Northwest; the breweries confirmed for the event are: Double Mountain, Full Sail, Walking Man, Acadian Farms, Backwoods, Amnesia, Big Horse, Lompoc, Hopworks Urban Brewery, Deschutes, and more.

The event takes place on the Cascade Lawn, which showcases Skamania Lodge’s signature view of the Columbia River Gorge. The Celebration of Beer is a quintessentially Northwest beer festival, with the full beauty of the region’s natural environment surrounding the event.

Please join the Lodge on October 5 on the Cascade Lawn from 12pm – 5pm. The cost to attend is $25/person, which includes entrance, a commemorative glass mug, and five tokens. Live music will be playing and food will be available for purchase.

Reserve rooms now for Saturday night, or the entire weekend, with accompanying events taking place on Friday and Sunday. On Friday night, the Lodge is hosting a Brewmaster’s Dinner with Full Sail; the entire four-course dinner with beer pairings and brewmaster commentary is $55/person. And those who stay Saturday night will have a chance to experience the Lodge’s famous Sunday Brunch.
