The Wedge Returns on October 4th

The Wedge will make its annual return to Portland on Saturday, October 4th. Once again The Wedge will be held out in front of the Green Dragon with a VIP Hour beginning at 11:00am and general admission from Noon to 5:00pm.

The Wedge is an event for all ages that will feature artisan, specialty and farmstead cheesemakers as well as accoutrement vendors from throughout the Northwest. The farmer’s market-style event will appeal to the cheese lover looking to taste and try new flavors and styles. And for those that want to learn even more about cheeses there will be classes that will cover pairings with beer as well as spirits.

More than 30 Northwest cheesemakers will showcase their finest cheeses and will include: Ancient Heritage Dairy, Briar Rose Creamery, La Mariposa, Portland Creamery, Full Circle Creamery, Rivers Edge Chevre, Rogue Creamery, Tillamook and Willamette Valley Cheese Co. to name a few. Attendees can also find accoutrements that are the ideal partner to their favorite cheese including: charcuterie, unique jams, farmstead honey and artisan breads.

The cheese festival is hosted by the Oregon Cheese Guild and Rogue Ales & Spirits. Tickets are now available for $11.00 ($12.53 after fees) by clicking here. Admission at the door will be $15.00. Tickets include a $5 cheese token to purchase your favorite cheese from the event.
