Transit on Tap

TriMet Transit on Tap

Join TriMet for an interactive discussion on the future of efares and mobile ticketing within the Portland region upstairs at the Widmer Brothers Brewery and Pub tonight from 5:00 to 7:00pm.

TriMet riders have embraced Mobile Ticketing, downloading our new ticketing app more than 60,000 times. As TriMet looks to a future with an electronic fare system (efares), which will allow riders to conveniently and quickly pay their fare by tapping a contact less payment device against an electronic reader, they’re interested to hear from riders about their ideas and aspirations.

The featured speakers tonight will be Chris Tucker, TriMet Director of Revenue Operations, and Nat Parker, GlobeSherpa CEO. The two of them will be discussing mobile ticketing and electronic fares. If you plan on attending click here to RSVP.

Transit on Tap is a new series for transit riders. Talks will be held in meeting rooms at local brew pubs, where you will be able to sample what’s on tap while hearing from transit experts on a variety of topics.

All events are free and open to the public. Pub-goers are responsible for purchasing their own food and beverages.
