2014 Firestone Walker Invitational Beer Fest Preview & Beer List
|The 2014 Firestone Walker Invitational Beer Fest will take place in a few days on Saturday, May 31st. This annual beer festival, now in its third year, is held in Firestone Walker’s hometown of Paso Robles, California and is one extremely sought after ticket. This year’s festival sold out within 22 minutes and now can be found online from dubious souls at well over double the original listing price.
The 3rd installment of this highly acclaimed event will feature over 40 breweries and over 20 restaurants sampling their beer and food the festival goers. You can read all about Brewpublic’s experience at the 2013 Invitational here and the 2012 Invitational here. Definitely a not to miss event.
One positive aspect for this year’s festival it that the weather forecast looks quite positive. During the festival’s first two years temperatures reached the 100 degree mark. Not the best environment to be sampling a wide array of beer in. The forecast for Saturday looks like temps will be right around 80 degrees, perfect festival weather!
News also broke that Firestone Walker’s 2014 Collaboration beer for the festival will be revealed on Saturday. Bottles will be sold at the brewery with a 6-bottle limit. There’s no need to scramble over to the brewery on Saturday for the release. According to Firestone Walker’s Twitter feed, there will be enough bottles available for one to purchase at the brewery on Sunday.
The official beer list will be available on Saturday in the festival program. However, here’s a sneak peek of the beer list that Firestone Walker tweeted out over the past couple of days.

This is one exciting beer list. Now its time to go through and mark off the ones on your must try list. With only 4 hours (5 hours if you scored the VIP Pass) of drinking time, your time is essential. We are up for the challenge!
What is the point of putting this on Brewpublic it isn’t local and you cant even get into the event anymore as it has been sold out for quite some time now.
Bazowie, we appreciate you taking the time to read the post that you seem to have very little interest in. Brewpublic covers events in our regional area and outside of the Pacific Northwest. Our goal with this post is to assist the festival attendees from all across the country in their festival preparation. Again thanks for reading!
I would have great interest in the event (the one you say I have little interest in)
But again it is sold out, and these attendees are not going to forget an epic event such as this one. Thank you for the reply tho!
Sounds like Bazowie is a little bitch. Great post, DJ! Haters are awesome. They are a reminder that you are doing good work! Cheers, mate!
