Celebrate Bushwhacker Cider 7th Anniversary Today
Today Portland’s original dedicated cider bar, Bushwhacker Cider celebrates seven years of serving up craft cider with Finnriver Farm & Cidery. The Bushwhacker Cider’s 7th Anniversary Party takes place from Noon-11:00pm with all daylong drink specials and patio games.
To celebrate this milestone today, Saturday, September 23rd, Bushwhacker Cider has partnered with Finnriver Farm & Cidery. During the past seven years the craft cider scene here in Portland has exploded and thanks to Jeff Smith he assisted in this elevation of cider when he opened Bushwhacker Cider.
From 4:00-7:00pm Finnriver will be pouring samples and featuring a few rare cider offerings along with pouring some cider cocktails. Finnriver will also be featuring one of Jeff’s favorite ciders, Finnriver Forest Ginger. This seasonal, botanical cider showcases the bounty of the Pacific Northwest and welcomes the transition to Fall. Forest Ginger is crafted with organic, heirloom Washington apples with the additions of Grand and Douglas Fir needles and organic ginger root.
Then from 6:00pm until close the Harvest Potluck returns. Come hungry and thirsty to enjoy this year’s bounty!
