Fort George Brewery Sweet Virginia Series: Apéritif & Three Wise Men
In time for the Holiday Season, Fort George Brewery will release two new beers as part of its Sweet Virginia Series. On Saturday, December 16th, beginning at 12:00pm, Fort George’s Lovell Taproom will begin selling bottles of Apéritif and Three Wise Men.
There are only a total of 70 cases of both Apéritif and Three Wise Men. Since there’s a limited supply, there will be a limit of one case per customer of these exclusive beers.
Here are descriptions of each of the beers provided by Fort George Brewery.
Apéritif
This table saison is meant to boost your appetite with delicious fruit forward characteristics. A mixed culture Apéritif brewed with Mecca Grade Malts and aged in Pinot Noir barrels.

Three Wise Men
You may know the Three Wise Men a different way, but we know them as Mr. Jack Daniels, Captain Morgan, and Jose Cuervo. We couldn’t get a hold of all of them, so we called up the barrels respectively from Four Roses (Bourbon), House Spirits (Rum), and Jose Cuervo Tequila. We strategically aged different portions of this Oatmeal Stout in these barrels and allowed them to hang out for a while. The brewers then blended them by taste to create a specifically boozy, yet light-bodied stout.
