Saraveza and pFriem Fundraiser for Dustin Gettmann

Saraveza and pFriem Family Brewers are partnering to raise money for Saraveza’s Executive Chef, Dustin Gettmann. This past May, Dustin became legally blind after being afflicted by a rare condition called Leber Hereditary Optic Neuropathy.

Along with this life-changing situation Dustin has to dramatically adjust the way he lives his life each day. On Saturday, September 22nd, Saraveza will team up with pFriem Family Brewers for a day long fundraiser for Dustin from 11:00am-11:00pm.

Prior to rejoining the kitchen team at Saraveza after the bar’s remodel in 2016, Dustin had spent several years in charge of the kitchen at pFriem Family Brewers among other restaurants and as a chef for the band The Dandy Warhols.

Dustin has been an integral part in Saraveza’s success and has worked hard to keep our friends, families and customers well fed with a thoughtful menu. In return, we are hoping to provide Dustin with some financial support to help him with living and medical expenses. – Sarah Pederson
