Reuben’s Brews Opens New Barrel House in Ballard
Situated around the block from the current Taproom of Reuben’s Brews, the Seattle brewer opens the Barrel House. This third taproom for Reuben’s Brews will open to the public today with hours of Thursday – Sunday from 3:00-9:00pm.
The Barrel House is located at 1133 51st Street, a very short walk from The Taproom in Seattle’s trendy Ballard neighborhood. This facility is normally used solely for Reuben’s barrel-aging program. Now patrons will be able to drink can or bottle pours from Reuben’s Brews surrounded by barrels of sour and wild beers patiently aging away.
Unique to the Barrel House, patrons are able to make table reservations up to 30 days in advance. Reservations will be for a 90-minute time window for a group of up to 6 guests, though reservations for smaller groups are also encouraged. Book your table on Tock, where Reuben’s will also have more information about reservations, or on the Visit Us page of ReubensBrews.com. Reuben’s will also offer walk-up tables at the Barrel House, so if you’re in the neighborhood and don’t have a reservation, drop by to see if there’s an available table
The Taproom is staying the same and will remain walk-up only, with a waiting list system in place. This location has also expanded with additional outdoor seating, perfect for beer drinking with vaccinated friends during the pandemic. Reuben’s other location, The Brewtap, remains closed due to pandemic restrictions but is reported to have news in the coming weeks on its updated status.
