Alesong Brewing & Blending 2024 Summer Beer Releases
|Its been about three months since the last bottle release from Alesong Brewing & Blending so this means that its 2024 Summer Beer Release is almost here! Coming up this weekend from August 15 – 18. 2024, Alesong Brewing & Blending will debut four new bottles at its countryside tasting room just south of Eugene, Oregon.
Members of Alesong’s Blender’s Circle will have the first opportunity to taste these four new beers – Old Fashioned, Showstopper ’24, Vin the the Abyss and Gose Añejo. Following the release weekend, two of these beers, Gose Añejo and Vin the the Abyss, a beer brewed in collaboration with Deschutes Brewery, will make its way throughout Alesong’s distribution footprint.
To learn more about these four barrel aged beer releases, here are descriptions on each of the beers as provided by Alesong Brewing & Blending.
- Gose Añejo probably doesn’t really need an intro at this point for the fourth vintage release, but it’s Alesong’s refreshing and summery, margarita-inspired beer aged in tequila barrels with lime, orange, and agave… Take a trip to the playa with us through beer!
- Another returning cocktail-inspired favorite, Old Fashioned is a blend of bourbon-barrel-aged strong ales that is rich in notes of vanilla, caramel, and bourbon, finished on a dash of orange peel for the citrus garnish you’d expect. Member Exclusive bottle!
- Showstopper ‘24 is part of our now ongoing collaboration series with Eugene’s Hult Center for the Performing Arts. This year’s is a rich imperial stout aged in whiskey barrels with cocoa and vanilla for a perfect theater sipper! Look for it at the Hult center all season long.
- And for the final beer in our release, Alesong is thrilled to unveil a totally new concept that in collaboration with their friends at Deschutes Brewery – Vin to the Abyss is a barrel aged imperial milk stout with Merlot grapes for a decadent blending of our two favorite beverages!
Alesong will host a release party exclusively for Blender’s Circle members at their country brewery the weekend of August 15-18, featuring small bite food pairings to accompany each new beer and will have all of the beers available on draft and in bottles for non-members the following weekend alongside their normal kitchen menu. Gose Añejo and Vin to the Abyss will be available at better retailers throughout the Pacific Northwest beginning the week of the brewery release.
