A new year-round beer will soon join the beer portfolio at Rogue Ales & Spirits. The Newport, Oregon base brewer will debut its new Rogue Pacific Northwest IPA. This new sub-style of the popular India Pale Ale has been crafted as a tribute to the region’s majestic evergreen forests. And according to Rogue, this beer not only embodies the flavor of the Pacific Northwest but also represents Rogue’s ongoing commitment to pushing the boundaries of craft beer through creativity and experimentation.

“We’re always looking for ways to innovate, and the Pacific Northwest IPA is a prime example of that,” said Rogue Master Brewer Joel Shields, in a press release. “By creating a distinct sub-style and incorporating 2B Hop Lines Experimental hops, we’re pushing the IPA category forward while staying true to the flavors that define the Pacific Northwest.”

Pacific Northwest IPA is brewed with a unique blend of Chinook, Simcoe, Strata, and the cutting-edge 2B Experimental hops, Pacific Northwest IPA offers a dank, pine-laden aroma that immediately transports you to the dense, evergreen forests of Oregon. Its golden straw hue and resinous hop character deliver a layered, complex flavor profile, offering an exciting and fresh take on the classic IPA style at 6.9% ABV and 65 IBUs.

“This IPA is more than a tribute to our home,” adds Rogue President Steven Garrett, in a press release. “It’s part of our mission to continually innovate in craft beer, creating something new for IPA fans to explore and enjoy. Pacific Northwest IPA isn’t just inspired by the region; it represents the evolution of beer itself.”

Rogue’s Pacific Northwest IPA will be available on Friday, October 25, 2024. This new beer will be available at Rogue Pubs, select retailers, and online. It will also be featured in the Rogue Variety Pack for year-round enjoyment in the new year. For more information on where you can find Pacific Northwest IPA, please visit Rogue Ales & Spirits.
