November 23, 2015
Portland, OR – Laurelwood Brewing Co. has started collecting toys for Doernbecher Children’s Hospital as part of their Annual Holiday Toy Drive. The brewery invites community members to bring donations to either of their Portland pubs through December 20, 2015. Participants will not only earn good karma but also a good craft beer – in exchange for a toy, donators can enjoy a dollar pint of one of Laurelwood’s signature brews or a free non-alcoholic beverage.
“As Portland’s resident family friendly brewpub, we have always been dedicated to helping our city’s youth,” says Desi Riscol, Laurelwood Public House and Brewery Area Manager. “This year, it feels especially important to be reminded of the power of kindness. We’re excited to work together, as a community, to give the gift of a magical holiday season to the children and families spending it at Doernbecher.”
If you would like to help make the season bright for Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, drop off a new and unwrapped toy to the following participating Laurelwood pub locations:
- NE Portland, 5115 NE Sandy Blvd
- SE Portland, 6716 SE Milwaukie Ave.
