N.W.I.P.A. December Beer Events

We just received this message from Jackson over at N.W.I.P.A. on the events his FoPo beer bar will be hosting for the month of December. Here are the details directly from Jackson…..

Wednesday, December 9th from 6 to 9: Stone Brewing Winter Party featuring American Cocina
Stone Brewing will be taking over the taps with the likes of Xocaveza, Enjoy By 12/2515, Chai Spiced Russian Imperial Stout and more plus American Cocina will be taking over the kitchen serving up Frito Pie and Sonoran Hot Dogs! Rumor is there will be a 3 liter of Double Bastard being raffled off too!!!

Saturday, December 12th from 6 to 9: El Borracho Pop Up
In honor of The Feast of the Virgin Guadalupe, we will be serving an in house pop up featuring traditional Mexican fare during the holiday season with a twist. Menu features Ensalada de Noche Buena, Pozole Rojo with Braised Bacon, Tamale de Mole Poblano and Rompope Popsicle with Coffee Abraxas.

Friday, December 18th 18th from 6 to 9: Firestone Walker presents The 3rd Annual Ugly Sweater Party
The Jacks will be wild as we tap kegs of Union, Double and Wookey Jack plus more. There will also be a flight of this year’s barrel releases available, which will include 5 oz. pours of the following; Helldorado, Sucaba, Velvet Merkin and Parabola for $18. Prizes to the ugliest of the ugly and good cheer to all!

Monday, December 21st from Sunset to Midnight: Longest Night of the Year
It’s going to be a dark one as we hit the Winter Solstice. We will celebrate in style as we switched the taps over to only the blackest of beers including Evil Twin’s Even More Jesus, Perennial Artisan Ale’s Abraxas, Crux’s 2104 Tough Love, Firestone Walker’s Wookey Jack and Barley Brown’s Turmoil. We will have a special burger that night too, maybe Burger King has some of those black buns left (?)

Friday, January 1st from 2 to 6: Matt Ward’s 2nd Annual Bottle Share
Our beloved Matt Ward wanted to do a bottle share, sometimes it’s that easy. Come start the New Year off right with us as we pop bottles all afternoon. Please bring a bottle or two if you want to join and spread the beer and love.

January is already filling up quickly with a rock concert or two, Six Point Hi-Res release, Olympia Provisions Sous Chef pop ups and more!
