3rd Annual Kriekfest Finds A New Home In Hood River

As the festival that celebrates all things cherry makes its return for its third year, the 2018 edition of Kriekfest has found a new home in Hood River, Oregon. The 3rd annual Kriekfest will take place on Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 11:00am-7:00pm at Waterfront Park along the Columbia River in Hood River.

After two years of hosting Kriekfest in Parkdale, Oregon organizers decided to relocate a few miles north to scenic Hood River. Though festival attendees may lose the majestic beauty of Mt. Hood as the festival’s backdrop, now they’ll have the Columbia River Gorge in full view. What won’t be missing at this year’s Kriekfest is the abundance of cherry beers as this festival is the largest celebration devoted exclusively to barrel-aged cherry beverages including an offering from Scratch Brewing located in Ava, Illinois.

Kriekfest 2018 tickets are now available at merctickets.com/go/Kriekfest. Advance admission is $40.00 ($43.47 after fees) and includes a festival glass and 24 drink tickets if purchased by June 30th. When purchased in advance after that day attendees will only receive 20 drink tickets along with a commemorative glass. If tickets remain the day of, admission will be $45.00 and include a commemorative glass and only 18 drink tickets. Each drink ticket will yield a 4 ounce pour and if the festival is like in year’s past a beer will require multiple drink tickets.
